In this regard, the BBC sought to know from senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal how the PML-N's political leadership fell victim to Corona.

Ahsan Iqbal said that the coercive and vindictive political agenda of the government was responsible for making the PML-N leadership a victim of Corona.

"The government has forcibly created conditions for us under its revenge agenda that we have fallen victim to this virus," he said.

"I think I, Shahid Khaqan, Tariq Fazal and Maryam Aurangzeb may have contracted the corona virus on the occasion of PML-N president Mian Shahbaz Sharif's appearance in the Lahore High Court on bail," he said.

"We were already asking the government and the NAB to suspend their operations for two months during the epidemic or if you have to call someone online or via Skype," he accused the government. Ask the source but don't put them in danger.

He said that PML-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif had written a letter to the NAB in this regard but he not only did not refrain from it but he also wanted to arrest him.

He said that NAB had forced Shahbaz Sharif to apply for bail.

Ahsan Iqbal said, "Since we had to appear in the High Court with the party chief and there was a very crowded and crowded atmosphere, we were all together, so I think we were impressed."

He said that it was the responsibility of the local administration which should have taken security and precautionary measures before the appearance of Mian Shahbaz Sharif in the Lahore High Court but they did not take any action on that day.

Asked if he was likely to be affected by the party meeting or any member of the party, he said, "It cannot be because we are considering a lot of security measures inside the party meetings, mostly Meetings are held on Skype or online. However, if there is a party meeting to be held, the place is thoroughly sprayed with germs first and the use of masks and social distance is taken care of by all the members.

"SOPs are taken care of even in the smallest meeting."

When PML-N president Mian Shahbaz Sharif was affected by Corona, Ahsan Iqbal said, "It is possible that Shahbaz Sharif was also affected by Corona from the Lahore High Court, otherwise he would have appeared before the NAB from where his More than half of the NAB's own staff is affected by Corona.

PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has blamed Prime Minister Imran Khan and NAB chairman for influencing party president Shahbaz Sharif's corona.

He said that Imran Khan and Chairman NAB were directly responsible for the influence of Shahbaz Sharif. Shahbaz Sharif had also asked the NAB to appear via Skype. He is a cancer patient and doctors have strongly advised him not to go out, so he did not attend the National Assembly session.

Ahsan Iqbal said that he was forced by Imran Khan's government to appear before the Lahore High Court for bail and later in the NAB.

"We have been active in the party since the beginning of the epidemic, but no one has spread it before," he said.

He said that PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb's father Tahira Aurangzeb may also have been influenced by Maryam.

"If the government had not taken these steps, would have summoned us to the court two months later and would not have exposed us in such circumstances, we would have been safe, but Imran Khan's government has told the NAB that the opposition Tighten them and let me hold them so that no dissenting voice is raised in the country. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation.
