University students return by adopting 'social distance'

Many universities in Wuhan, China, are returning students for the first time today. Remember that Wuhan was the city where the corona virus first spread.

From early May, the local government began slowly sending students back to educational institutions. According to state media, final year and postgraduate students who do scientific research will return today.

Pictures in China's state-run People's Daily show students holding suitcases and wearing masks returning to universities. They are told to come at a specific time to take care of social distance, and their body temperature will be checked on arrival.

There are more than 50,000 confirmed patients of Code 19 in Wuhan and people in the city have spent 76 days in lockdown. On Friday, the administration said there were no symptoms of the virus in the city, but about 200 people without symptoms were being medically examined.
